Who Are We?

Bellingham SeaFeast...

Is a nonprofit festival centered on world-class seafood, founded on a three-year seed grant from the City of Bellingham Tourism Commission (travel and tourism tax allotments).

The Bellingham/Whatcom County region has three legacy industries at its roots: Agriculture, Forestry and Wood, and Commercial Fishing/Maritime Trades. Bellingham SeaFeast showcases the maritime sector and its booming economic impact locally, regionally, and internationally.

The festival operates through a Board of Directors, a Festival Management Committee, and scores of volunteers.

The structure of the event revolves around seafood, entertainment, competitions and games, educational/outreach activities/presentations, and many interactive tours and activities involving commercial fishing boats and waterfront attractions (a cold storage facility, a processing plant, a boatbuilding plant, and more).
