The seafeast story
Bellingham SeaFeast PRESENTED BY BORNSTEIN SEAFOODS on Sept. 30 and Oct. 1 provides you a showcase and celebration of our:
- Legacy maritime heritage.
- Bustling working waterfront.
- Internationally-renowned fishing & seafood industries.
- Unsurpassed culinary bounty. (Count on over-eating.)
You will leave with a lasting impression and inside knowledge of the potent historical, community-building, and economic impact (not to mention taste!) of the maritime and fishing commerce that distinguishes our little corner of the Pacific Northwest.
The waterfront has defined Bellingham from its very beginnings, and Bellingham SeaFeast represents every facet of its sea-borne charm. From sea-to-plate you will experience why ocean, bay, and fish set Bellingham apart as a place you will always remember fondly.
Currents of an ever-increasing interest in our maritime and fishing sector and its potent economic impact led to the creation of SeaFeast. Local maritime industries drew support from the City of Bellingham Tourism Commission to create this signature festival at Squalicum Harbor on Bellingham Bay.
As the City of Bellingham and the Port of Bellingham coalesce their efforts to redevelop the waterfront and to intentionally connect the City with the thriving waterfront, Bellingham SeaFeast planners have collaborated with stakeholders throughout Whatcom County to launch this festival.
Plan now to stay overnight and attend (admission is free) and catch the wave of excitement at our Bellingham SeaFeast – fun and food, music and demonstrations, contests and entertainers, on the shores of Bellingham Bay!
